Wright Way designs was thrilled and honored when we won an RFP (Request For Proposal) from the USS Potomac. We were excited to be chosen to play a part in the history of one of the most famous yachts in the world. Known as "FDR's Floating White House", the USS Potomac is seventy-three years old and still going strong. The ship is currently a floating museum and charter yacht based in Jack London Square.
The initial work request was for a complete re-manufacture of the main salon draperies. Satisfactory completion of this job led to a contract 'add-on', which included manufacturing bedspreads for the entire ship's crew quarters. We have an ongoing relationship with the Potomac's Foundation and commend them in their ongoing efforts to preserve this fantastic historical monument.
